You properly acknowledge that you have voluntarily chosen to participate in an any activity of progressive physical exercise demonstrated by Emstar Personal Training.

Before you begin any physical movement or exercise you must engage in good warm-up and proper cool-downs after each workout.

You adequately understand that physical activity can:

  • increase the heart-rate and demand for oxygen
  • increase blood-pressure
  • increase breathing rate and may cause you to become ‘out of breath’
  • cause sweating and therefore loss of hydration
  • muscle soreness
  • decrease in blood sugar levels
  • result in fainting
  • increase appetite and demand for energy
  • cause strains, sprains and inflammation in your body (e.g joints)
  • lead to injuries, accidents or even death

You also understand there are inherent risks in knowingly participating in an activity of strenuous exercise.

You have been credibly informed of the possible strenuous nature of a fitness training activity and the potential for unusual but possible, physiological results including but not limited to, abnormal blood pressure, muscle soreness, fainting, injury, heart attack or death.


You understand and agree that it is your responsibility to inform your doctor before you start exercising and of any conditions or changes in your health now and ongoing, which might affect your ability to exercise safely and with minimal risk of injury.
You understand that you are not obligated to perform nor participate in any exercise activity if you do not wish to do and that it is your right to refuse such participation at any time during my training sessions. You understand that should you feel lightheaded, faint, dizzy, nauseated or experience pain or discomfort, you are to stop the activity and inform your doctor or emergency medical services should you become injured or ill with the mutual understanding that you are responsible for any expenses incurred.

By taking part, you assume all risk for your health and well-being and should prepare in advance before starting any exercise, for example, having a snack and water nearby. You hold any personal responsibility involved with this activity. You understand that questions about exercise procedures and recommendations are encouraged and welcomed.
